About Marc
Marc has proudly called Clarence-Rockland home since 1994, when he and his family built their home in Ward 1. As a long-time resident, he has witnessed the community's growth and understands both its strengths and challenges.
Marc’s journey in public service began in 1982 when he started his career as a junior city planner. Driven by a passion for community planning and local government, he earned a College Diploma in Geography, a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, a Master’s Degree in Applied Science (Land Use Planning), and a Certificate in Municipal Services Management.
Over more than 40 years, Marc has served as a planner, Director of Planning, Construction and By-law Enforcement, Chief Administrative Officer - Clerk, for several municipalities. His experience in planning and his knowledge in dealing with civil engineering, municipal and financial management have given him a deep understanding of how local government works and how to find practical solutions for communities.
Today, Marc is committed to putting that experience to work for the residents of Ward 1.

Marc brings practical knowledge in municipal law, land surveying, civil engineering and architecture. In his work as an independent consultant, Marc has helped the Rockland Housing Corporation with their projects to provide affordable housing for seniors.
